ROAD RACING STOPPED
CYCLISTS AND MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL NEW SYSTEM SUGGESTED When members of the Manuka u Amateur Cycling Club and Auckland Cycling Club assembled on Saturday for tho usual road-racing events, a letter Mas received from the Manukau County Council, the authority controlling the roads in the district, advising the clubs that they could not race. In consequence, the races arranged for Saturday Mere postponed. It is understood that the Manukau Club will approach the County Council that Meek with a scheme for time trial racing which, it is contended, will obviate the danger of congestion on tho i road.
