NEW ZEALAND ACTRESS SCORES IN LONDON Marie Ney, the Wellington actress, who is now listed among the greatest of the stage stars in London today, hflQ ctrnrprl cti 11 onotlint.
She appears as milady in the latest Drury Lane musical spectacle, “The Three Musketeers,” which has been adapted from the Dumas novel of that name. Miss Ney appears in a huge „•••■ns; cast which includes Dennis King as D’Artagnan, Lilian Davis as the queen, Adrienne Brune, and Arthur Wontner, and a host of others. Until recently Miss Key had been appearing in period comedy produced by Sir Nigel Playfair. Every critic in London lavishly praised her work. Now she has stepped into the realms of musical plays, with the success which characterised her former work. The “Observer” critic speaks of her style, vigour, and resonance, and the “Daily Mail” critic refers to her many notable qualities.
