FOUND HURT IN PADDOCK
MAN INJURED BY CAPSIZE OF ROLLER FARMER FOLLOWS CRIES Irani Our Own Cor. esp indent NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Hearing a ery for help while working on his farm late on Thursday evening Mr. H. PI- Olson followed the sounds until he found a man lying injured beside a roller with two horses with twisted harness standing nearby. Mr. Olson had the injured man, Mr. E. Hodges, sent to the New Plymouth Hospital, where it was found that he was suffering from injuries to his head and ribs. When found. Mr. Hodges was lying in a depression and it is thought that while ho was taking a short cut across Mr. Olson’s property the roller capsized going down hill. It was a bitterly cold night and when Mr. Hodges was found he was already beginning to suffer from exposure.
