BAYSWATER-BELMONT WOMEN'S SOCIETY

ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 1930 SEASON The annual meeting of the Bays-water-Belmont Women’s Society was held on Thursday in the clubhouse at Bayswater, Mrs. F. E. X. Gaudin pre- ! siding. The hon. secretary, Mrs. Kabj bulge, read the report, and the hon. j treasurer, Mrs. Thomas, gave the j statement of accounts. The officers for the ensuing year are as follow: —President, Mrs. F. E. X. Gaudin (re-elected): vice-president, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Francis; hon. secretahy, Mrs. L. L. Rabbidge; hon. treasurer. Mrs. W. G. Thomas; committee, Mesdames Brady, Blampied, Waddell. Collinson, R. Harrison, Rambaud, Powell, McDuff and A. Gyde. It was decided that meetings should be held to sew for the Brett Home and supply the children with clothes and slippers. A sum of £23 Ss was realised on Poppy Day. It was decided to send a donation of £2 2s to the Auckland City Mission.
