MAIDS IN BLUE AND PRIMROSE ATTEND FRANKTON BRIDE

BOONE—CRAIG The marriage was celebrated recently, at the First Church, Frankton, of Rita Elizabeth, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Craig, of Norton Road, Frankton, and Harold Percival, only son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Boone, of St. Leonard’s Road, Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. L. Rogers, and Mr. W. Whitehead presided at the organ. Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory georgette over satin, with a draped effect. The bodice was vandyked into the full, uneven hemline skirt which dipped at the back. She wore a beautiful embroidered veil, caught to the head with clusters of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and chrysanthemums. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Aileen Boone, sister of the bridegroom, in a frock of primrose crepe de chine, and Miss Lorna Holmes, who had on periwinkle georgette. Their tulle headdresses and bouquets were in shades to match their frocks. Mr. J. Bygate was best man and Mr. E. Clare was groomsman. A reception was held after the ceremony at the Centre way. Mrs. Craig was gowned in black satin beaute, relieved . with fawn, and a felt hat to tone was worn. Mrs. Boone was in silver grey crepe de chine, with a hat to match.
