LORD BLEDISLOE’S PLAN It is the intention of the GovernorGeneral, Lord Bledisloe, to meet personally as many people of New Zealand as possible. On Saturday, May 24, at Government House, their Excellencies will hold a garden party for members of the staffs of City firms and commercial houses. Invitations to attend have already been issued to a number of businesses and personal invitations are also to be sent out. Especially in the instance of the larger concerns, it is suggested that as many married people as possible should attend. The party will be purely informal. The limited accommodation at Government House lias not permitted issue of inviations to all firms, but another garden party of the nature is to be held in the future.
