ORPHANAGE DEMONSTRATION
In the Scots Hall. Symonds Street, on Tuesday next at 7.30, a spectacular demonstration will be presented by over 100 children from the three Methodist Orphanages, “Wesley” and “Epworth” Homes, Mount Albert, and Buckland Road Home, Epsom. The programme will consist of marches, action songs in costume, tableaux, a maypole dance, etc., with coloured lighting effects; also humorous items by Mr. Alan McElwain. Former performances have drawn large crowds, and ticket-holders are advised to be seated by 7.15 p.m. Doors will open at 7 o’clock.
