ROYAL LOVER SOLD
FOR THE PONIES IN SYDNEY During his recent visit to Sydney, Mr. C. M. Emanuel, the well-known Ellerslio owner and trainer, entered into negotiations for the sale of Royal Lover and as a result she will be shipped to the other side next Friday. The mare was purchased for purposes of racing her at the unregistered pony meetings in the Sydney suburban area, and she should do well there, for she has a lot of speed. In all her races Royal Lover has shown an abundance of pace, but she fails to stay on and until improvement in this respect five furlongs will be lior pet distance. They specialise in short sprints at the pony gatherings, so Royal Lover should be quite at home.
