“THE COCOANUTS” AT GRAND
“The Cocoanuts,” which is the current attraction from today at the Grand Theatre, is a most entertaining talking film novelty. “The Cocoanuts” is primarily a tuneful American revue, but is notable for the work of the four Marx Brothers, whose jokes, quips and antics follow one another so fast that one can scarcely enjoy them all. Another performer from the New York stage is Mary Eaton, whose glorious voice is heard in a number of songs. All the action takes place in a Florida hotel, and the production is replete with songs, dances and spectacular effects. The excellent supporting programme is helped by a “Mickey the Mouse” cartoon.
