TAKAPUNA COUNCIL
NO NOMINATIONS FOR VACANCY So far no nominations have been received for the vacancy upon the Taka puna Borough Council caused by the resignation of Cr. .1. W. Hayden. Mr. J. E. Ern«st Close, who had been approached to allow himself to be nominated, states that he cannot accede to the request as his health is not sufficiently satisfactory to warrant his accepting any public office.
