TE KUITI WINTER SHOW

From, Our Own Cor. esp indent TE KUITI, Wednesday

A meeting of the executive of the Te Kuiti District Winter Show Association was held on Monday evening, when preliminary ararngements were made for the forthcoming show, to be held in July. The secretary stated that the schedules and entry forms would be posted during the week. Over 200 classes are included in this year's enlarged schedule. A sub-committee was appointed to allot spaces for the various sections. Numerous requests for space for sideshows have been received from all parts of the Dominion. It was decided to hire marquees to provide more space than last year, as there had been a certain amount of congestion previously.

One of the most interesting competitions will be the “One Man Farm." This was a centre of attraction at the Auckland Show and several- district farms have already entered the competition.

A donation of S. 5 was made to the Maniapoto District Brass Band.
