RESULTS OF THREE BYELECTIONS r JP H E fact that the comparative strength of the political parties in New Zealand is now practically the same as immediately after the general elections was commented on by the Leader of the Labour Party, Mr. H. E. Holland, last evening. Since the general election, he said, there had been three byelections. The first was won by the Country Party, the second by the Labour Party, and the third by the Reform Party. “So that, generally speaking, we can congratulate one another,” he said.
