GREY LYNN CINEMA
“The Letter,” a powerful drama based on the famous play by Somerset Maugham, is now at the Grey Lynn Cinema with the great American emotional actress, the late Jeanne Eagels, in the leading role. The story is laid in Singapore, and concerns the efforts of a married woman to retrieve an incriminating letter which is part of the evidence in a murder trial.
The Grey Lynn Cinema’s programme also includes shorter talkie items.
