JEWEL POINTER SOLD

That good pacer, Jewel Pointer, has been sold by Mr. Moodabe and will in future race in the colours of Mr. D. Brideson, who now runs Rockburn. In his last few outings, Jewel Pointer has gone really well, and he may perform with further distinction at -the winter meeting at Epsom next month. It is Mr. Brideson’s intention to use Jewel Pointer later on for stud purposes, and he has already decided to mate him with a few of his own marcs, notably Luvan, Pyramus and Haricot. Bred as he is, Jewel Pointer should not lack opportunities to prove himself as a good sire, and in the meantime he may win some stake money for Mr. Brideson. Until the sale Jewel Pointer was trained by A. Julian, but the horse will now go into S. August’s stable.
