LIABLE TO A REHANDICAP There are a number of horses clown to compete at Hawera this week who are listed for the three big events at the A.R.C. Great Northern meeting on June 3, 5. and 7. The conditions framed for tlie Ellerslie races provide for a feliandieapping of winners should the handicapper deem it necessary. But horses will have to register outstanding performances this week to merit further attention from the A.R.C. weight adjuster, for there is a big difference in the class. The following list shows horses listed to compete in the opening events at Hawera tomorrow, with their weights there, who are engaged in similar big Auckland evenfs, the weights at Ellerslie being shown in parentheses: Great Northern Hurdles. —Glenstar, 10.5 (9.9): Horumea, 9.11 (9.4): Whisogne. 9.0 (9.0); Tiega, 9.0 (9.2). Great Northern Steeplechase.—Matu. 10.3 (9.5): Maunga. 9.11 (9.5): Airtight, 9.10 (9.3): Ponjola, 9.2 (9.3) Aurora Borealis, 9.5 (9.0).
