MOTHER AND CHILD ESCAPE From Our Own Correspondent MARTON, Today. When travelling along the Tutaenui Road on Sunday a three-seater motorcar, driven by Mrs. S. McJarrow, climbed a bank, turned two somersaults and came to rest on its wheels. For some reason the door swung open as the car was travelling along the road, and in her effort to save her three-year-old son from falling out Mrs. McJarrow lost control of the car The child was thrown clear as the car mounted the bank, but neither he nor his mother was hurt beyond a few bruises. The car was badly damaged, the body being battered and the’ chassis strained.
