HEAVY-WEIGHT TITLE
SCHMELING ARRIVES TO TRAIN NEW YORK, Sunday. Max Schmeiing, the German heavyweight boxer, who is to meet JacV Sharkey in a contest for the world’s championship on June 26, has arrived in New York. He spoke confidently, but was not boastful, saying that certainly he had as much chance as Sharkey had against him. If Schmeiing takes the championship he will be glad to defend the title against all comers.
