The president said mob method* were found quite successful, but clipping a shorter fleece reduced the grac*. The present British first grade prj' e of 29s and 30s a pound was for a 3 3 fibre. A fleece of 2in dropped to 2.~Plucking was the ideal made of ha - vesting if it could be done rapid 7 enough, as this avoided waste of th* short new coat developing beneath, • earned a price os a pound above fi-' : grade. Mrs. Brown believed the slowness • • plucking made it impracticable. The club was advised by its exec utr - committee to participate officially - n the next Winter Show with th: ***' proval of the Agricultural and Pastor; * Association.
