HOBBS PUTS UP CENTURY IN EACH INNINGS FIRST ROUND RESULTS * Reed. 9.85 a.m. LONDON, Friday. In the first round of the county cricket, Hobbs made a century in both innings in the match between Glamorgan and Surrey. Glamorgan in the first innings made 474 (Bates ICB, Hills 100), and in the second innings 205 (Turnbull 61). Allom took four wickets for 50. Surrey in the fir3t ifinings made 333 (Hobbs 137). Mercer took five for 61. In the second innings it lost two wickets for 190 (Hobbs not out 111). Glamorgan won on the first innings. Middlesex, against Leicester, in the first innings made 196 (Lee 85). Geary took four for 53. In the second innings Middlesex lost five for 349 and declared (Lee 95, Hendren not out 101). Leicester in the first innings got 280. Robbins took five for 81. In the second innings it lost five for 127. Leicester won on the first innings.
