WHEN WOMEN TRAVEL

Travel in the winter is largely confined to the lucky ones who can seek the sun for those who travel on duly bound. In either case, it is as well to be warm, for there Is nothing more deadly than cold railway travel. There is a new article of travel equipment that is as delightful as it is practical. It consists of a coloured leather bag about the size of a cushion. It fastens, as all good travelling equipment should, with a zipper. Inside thete Is a pretty little travelling eiderdown, together with a cosy dressing gown and slippers all to match. Thus there are all kinds of advantages rolled into one. A cushion for the train, the eiderdown as rug during the day. complete equipment for a sleeper, and lessening of pressure on space in suitcase or trunk —for dressing-gowns do take up a lot of room.
