THE VOGUE FOR MOIRE SILKS
Since the vogue for waisted frocks and full, long skirts has been revived, I he manufacturers of fabrics have been seeking for a material comparable with the stiff silks of the olden days, and at last they have “discovered” silk moire, it is a fabric which has the advantage of displaying its richness in the new styles, and at the same time falls into graceful folds. When it is patterned in the floral designs that have swept all before them during l he past and in the coming season, it is no wonder that it is a popular medium for afternoon, dinner and formal evening frocks.
