FAREWELL LUNCHEON
SUDAN UNITED MISSION A score of members of the Council of the Sml.in United Mission and of the Women’s Auxiliary met at lunch yesterday lo bid farewell to Sister A. Thomas, of Hamilton. Sister Thomas is to leave Auckland next Friday on her vay to take up medical mission work with the Sudan United Mission at Heiin the Kordofan Province, AngloEgyptian Sudan. At a meeting in the afternoon members of the Women's Auxiliary presented Sister Thomas with a number of livmn books as a farewell gift, and took the opportunity to express to h ;• their cordial good wishes.
