ON YOUR LUNCH TABLE
If you use luncheon mats for the middle-day meal, it is worth while to invest in a set of plateglass mats to cover them. Not only do they keep the small mats unsoiled and in place, but they make the use of cork or other protective unnecessary. A large centrepiece of plateglass reflects the flowers that decorate the table most charmingly, and if used at nighttime also reflects the steady gleam of the candles so much in vogue just now.
