The stupendous British talking picture “Atlantic” is repeating its sensational European and English success in Wellington. Nothing on the scale of this epic of the sea has been attempted before in the realms of the “talkie.” It is a tragedy, but a tragedy whose ending leaves one satisfied and. above all, proud to be British. The story is taken from Ernest Raymond’s play “The Berg,” in which the author of “Tell England” created a great stage success. The story is simple, but very telling, and the production is on the most lavish scale.
