WOMEN TROTTING ENTHUSIASTS
3JRS. H. W. BURCH, wife of the popular president of the V # ."ikato Trotting Club, is the latest to join the ranks of lightharness sportswomen, having purchased a couple of Triumph trotters. Royal Triumph, one from Rose Elmo, will be seen in action at Cambridge on Saturday, and is likely to make his presence felt in the novice trot. The other is a three-year-old from Koroena, dam of Koro Peter, and, like the champion trotter, was bred by W. Cooper, at Tauranga. With such promising material Mrs. Burch should make a successful entrance into the sport.
