TYPE MAY BE REVISED Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. The type of boat used in the Sanders t up contests has not met with the universal approval of all yachtsmen in New Zealand. It is felt in some quarters that it would be better to use a boat which is not designed solely for racing purposes, and which could be utilised ior pleasure cruising. The present boat, the “Jellicoe” 14ft iype, is stated to be quickly losing its former appeal, and in order to consider the question of making the contosts_ more popular and generally improving the rules, a special meetin™ of the Wellington Yacht and Motor-Boat Association was held.
