NEW BOROUGH’S MAYOR
MR. J. S. HARDWICKE ELECTED FOR ONE TREE HILL POLL FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS Tlie first Mayor of the newly-con-stituted Borough of One Tree Hill, is Mr. J. S. Hardwicke, chairman of the old road board, who has been ejected unopposed. An election will be necessary to select tho first council, seven nominations having been received for six seats, and the poll will be held on Wednesday, May 14. The candidates for councillors arc:—Messrs. R. G. Clark, I. J. Goldstine, W G. Mulholland, C. L. Slyfield (board members), Mr. K. W. Aimer (former board member), and Messrs. J. Adams and W* J. Hancock. Tho board members who are not seeking election on the council are Messrs. 11. B. Dobbie and J. Wood.
