BENEFACTOR GIVES EXTRA £6,000 FOR WORK SHIP TO GO AGAIN CANBERRA, Friday. ' Mr. Macßobertson, who gave £IO,OOO for the discovery’s recent Antarctic voyage, has offered another £6,000, which the Federal Government has accepted. Sir Douglas Maws on will resume exploration in accordance with plans tentatively prepared. No further Government grant is considered necessary. Early last months it was reported from Tokyo: In the neighbourhood of Ito, a village in the Shizuoka prefecture, earthquakes have been almost continuous since the middle of February. Most of the 15,000 inhabitants of the district are camping or otherwise prepared for eventualities.
