DOMINION FARMERS MAKE EXTENDED TOUR STUDY OF CONDITIONS For the first time in the - story of conducted tou-s relating to New Zealand traveller, a party of "00 Dominion farmers, of wn cm 70 will leave by the Ulimaroa trday, is to undertake an extended tour of Great Britain and the Ccntine-t of Europe. The trip will embrace peaces of historical interest, as well as farming centres. Of those leaving by the Uhmaros there will be a number from the Sooth Island, as well as Wellington Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay provincial representatives. Two sections r.av* already left from Auckland. On arrival at Sydney on Tuesday the representatives leaving from Wellington will join the second section froa Auckland, and they will embark or. the liner Ormond*, which leaves for London on May 10. The last section of the party will take the Panama rout- and sail from Wellingfton by the lonic on May 10. The entire part y is to assemble in London on Tune 19. Every stage of the tour has bees carefully planned. Th© inclusive fare for the whole trip will be £. 2= 0. T urin* ; their stay in London all members of the party will stay at the Ho*el Belgravia. In addition t Gre i: Britain, the party will tour the Channel Island* France, the Irish Free sta*e. Germany. Switzerland and Denmark The tour will cover the principal agricultural districts, in addition to dairy farms, pedigree herds. agriultunl shows, marketing centre-. storagi plants and argri cultural colleges. Opportunity will be given for the tourist* to observe at first hand the method* of European suppliers of the Lnglisk market.
