WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION

REORGANISATION IN SYDNEY A meeting was held recently in flic New Zealand Government Offices, Martin Place, Sydney, when it was decided to reorganise the New Zealand Women’s Auxiliary of Sydney and to form a new organisation, which will be known as the New Zealand Women’s Association. The following officers were elected* President, Mrs. S. Hempton, formerly of Wellington; vice-presidents, Mrs. Reimer and Mrs. Beard; honorary secretary, Miss M. L. McDonald; honorary treasurer, Miss V. Nathan. The association has a membership of about 50. The objects of the new organisation are to promote friendly intercourse between New Zealanders resident in Australia and to entertain visitors.
