FIRE IN CITY STORE
Many people in Queen Street last evening thought a serious fire had occurred when part of the roof of Milne and Clioyce’s building was seen to be in flames. The tire was, however, confined to the woodwork of the boilerhouse, and the City Brigade had no difficulty in suppressing it with extinguishers. Slight damage was done to the boiler-house.
