ELEVEN THOUSAND CASES of Samoan bananas were brought to Auckland by the Waipahi, which arrived in port yesterday. This is the first shipment that this vessel has brought since last November, the supply since then having been maintained by small consignments by the Maui Pomare. The Waipahi's fruit is reported to be in excellent condition. The picture shows a long line of trucks being loaded with the fruit at Prince’s Wharf.
