FEWER BANKRUPTCIES

DECREASE FOR FOUR MONTHS Bankruptcies decreased in the Auckland district in April, only six being recorded compared with 11 ' for the corresponding month last year. There were 12 bankruptcies in March, and 10 each in February and January. A comparison of the returns for the first four months of the year shows a decrease of 21, the figures for this period of 1930 being 38, as against 59 last year. -
