SURPLUS OF £13,000
NO TAXATION INCREASE IN IRISH FREE STATE MINISTER’S STATEMENT Reed. 1.20 p.m. DUBLIN, Wednesday. Estimating the Budget surplus at £13,000, the Finance Minister, Mr. Blythe, pointed out that there was no need to increase the Free State’s taxation, which had now been stabilised.
