DUKE OFFERS BEN LOMOND ESTATE FOR SALE MUST HAVE ' THE MONEY LONDON, Wednesday. Practically the whole of Ben Lomond, including the peak and all the approaches from Loch Lomond, is about to be offered for sale by auction. This historic spot is part of the estate of the Duke of Montrose, who says that owing to the death duties and heavy taxation he is compelled to part with lands which have been the heritage of his family for centuries.
