WEDDINGS INCREASE IN APRIL VITAL STATISTICS The popularity of Easter weddings Wa * reflected in the number of marPlaces during April. The ceremonies solemnised in the past month totalled *3l, or 64 more than in the same month 1929. The registrar married 55 couples in April this year, compared *'ith 32 in the corresponding period of the past 12 months. Vhe b rths dropped from 240 in April, to 206. and the deaths from 144 to 140.
