ETCHER’S ART

EXHIBITION OPENED TODAY Some splendid examples of the art of the etcher are to be seen at an exhibition which was opened today in rooms COl and 602 in the South British Insurance Building. Norman Lindsay, the famous Australian artist, is represented by some outstanding work. Pictures by Whistler are of exceptional interest, as are also those by several other Englishmen, including Smart and Lumsden. J. c Goodchild, the Adelaide artist, is equally at home with water-colour, etching or lithograph. The exhibition will be open for only a limited period. Admission is free.
