GLENDOWIE LADIES’ CLUB An open day was held at the Glendowie Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday. The links were in good order, and there were many visitors from other clubs. The best gross score was returned by Aliss K. Horton with a score of 81. The senior medal was also won by Aliss K. Horton, 81, 12—69. Other cards were:— Airs. Deighton, 85, 9—76; Airs. R. L. WIIThe junior medal match resulted in a tie between Mrs. Warren. 97, 23—74, and Mrs. Young’, 106, 32—74. The tie was decided on the last nine holes and was won by Airs. Warren. Other cards were:—Miss E. Mahoney. 94, 19—75; Miss M. Johnson, 112, 36—76; Aliss Lundon, 112, 35—77; Miss Brookfield, 97, 19—78; Airs. Gilmore, 97, 3 9—78. The professional, F. Rutter, presented a club for the best net score returned by a member of the Glendowie Ladies' Goff Club. This was won by Mrs. Warren, with :t score of 74.
