RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE Although the greater part of the month of April was dry the rainfall in the last few days brought the total to 2.85 inches, rain falling on 15 days. The average for the month is 3.19. On only two days did the sun fail to shine, the total being 193 hours five minutes, with a maximum of 11 hours on the 17th. The temperatures were mild, the mean maximum in the shade being 06 degrees and the mean minimum 54 degrees.
