POLICE; QUICK!
SYDNEY PILL BOXES GIVE THUGS LITTLE CHANCE LOCK-UPS IN STREETS Reed. 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today Miniature street lock-ups, known as pill-boxes, similar to those used in London, are to be erected in the streets at Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, and YVoolloomooloo. These will be made of solid concrete and will serve as temporary lock-ups and telephone bureaux for summoning police aid.
