COMING-OF-AGE CELEBRATION A very enjoyable evening was spent on Saturday night at Nairn’s Tearooms, when Air. and Airs. Harry Boon, of Epsom, save a coming-of-ago party to their son George. The hostess received her guests wearing a frock of shaded apple-green georgette. Among those present were: Airs. A. Flatt, wearing pink satin; Airs. F. Lenihan, chartreuse green georgette; Airs. Hargreaves, navy georgette; Airs. J. Stormont, silver lame; Miss Phyl AlcGregor, apple-green taffeta; Aliss E. Xeilson, white satin, with ankle-length tulle skirt; Aliss A. Alaberly, nil green shot taffeta; Aliss Nancy Abel, powder blue satin and ankle-length frilled tulle; Atiss A'. Bird, ankle-length frock white silk net. trimmed with silver; Aliss Reka Clark, turquoise georgette; Aliss Carey, lilac ring velvet; Aliss Crawford, lemon georgette. Aliss Kath Gardiner, in green georgette with tinsel bodice; Miss Fat Irving, green net frills, relieved with gold lace; Aliss Rua AlcGregor, royal blue ring velvet, uneven hemline of gold lace; Miss E. Meeks, turquoise taffeta; Aliss p. Alaxley, black georgette, with gold lace; Aliss ATay Alaxley, mauve georgette, 'with silver lace; Aliss Shepherd, cream tulle over pink crepe de. chine; Aliss V. Smith, green lace frock: Aliss Jovce Frideatix, blue net and taffeta; Atiss Phvl x rideaux, green taffeta.
