ABSCONDER FROM BAIL
THOUGHT TO HAVE LEFT COUNTRY " Press Association TIM ARE, Tuesday. When the grand jury returned a true bill today against George Arthur King on a charge of having obtained £3B 10s by false pretences, the Crown was unable to proceed with the prosecution, accused having absconded from bail, which had been fixed in the lower court at £l5O in his own recognisance and one surety of £l5O. The Crown Prosecutor said accused had absconded from bail and the police had every reason to believe that he had left the country.
