AMATEUR THEATRICALS
SOCIETY’S ANNUAL MEETING The production of the musical comedy “Florodora” was described at the annual meeting of the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society held last evening, as the most noteworthy of the society’s activities. Mr. W. W. Bruce presided over the meeting, which was well attended. A successful year’s work was reported, and the financial position was shown to be satisfactory. The resignation of the secretary, JVIr. H. Goldie, was accepted. It was resolved not to appoint a new honorary secretary, the incoming committee being empowered to consider a suggestion for a paid secretary.
