Market at Midday In the insurance section, A.P.A. have keen buyers at 6s; National are steady with buyers 14s 4d, sellers 15s; New Zealand are also asked for at 445, sellers 44s 9d; South British are steady. Bocal-body and Government bonds and stock are in keen demand, few sellers appearing in this section. * * * Leyland - O’Brien Dividend An interim dividend of lOd a share for the half-year ended March 31 has been declared by the directors of the Leyland-O’Brien Timber Company, Ltd. The dividend, which is at the usual rate, is payable today. N.Z. Paper Mills Dividend Increase An increase in the dividend distribution by N.Z. Paper Mills, Ltd., is announced in a Press Association message from Dunedin. The directors have decided to recommend to shareholders the payment of a final dividend of 4 per cent., making 7£ per cent, for the year ended March 31. Last year the company paid 6£ per cent., and the two preceding years 6 per cent., and in 1926 7£ per cent.
