FISCHER APPEARS AT COURT.—Eugene Hugh Fischer, who arrived at Dunedin by the Maui Pomare last week from Samoa, appeared at the Auckland Police Court this morning and was charged with stealing the cutter Maroro. He was remanded on bail until May 7. The Maroro disappeared from Auckland last November and was wrecked in February, in the Manua group, about 60 miles east of Pago Pago (American Samoa).
