, English actors and actresses are comJ, '£ into their own. Of eight principals i .st in “The Circle,” the Metro-Gold-yn-Mayei* all-talking picture now bedirected by David Burton, six are Englishmen.
Both Cliff Edwards and Ethelind Terry felt perfectly at home recently when Director William Xigh photographed them in a reproduction of the rooms in which .artists record for the great phonograph companies. It was ail part of M.-G.-M’s “Lord Byron of Broadway.” in which they are both featured. . Clift Edwards is rated among the five most popular recording artists. His records have sold into the millions. The beautiful voice of Miss Terry also gained a great phonograph following because of her work in "Bio Bita” and “Kid Boots.”
