THE ENTRY LIST BEST JUMPERS ENGAGED There is not a single new recruit to the jumping game figuring in the entries for the two Great Northerns, but doubtless there will be sufficient competitors in events over the obstacles during the winter months to confuse the pessimists. Nominations for the principal events to bo decided at the winter meeting of the Auckland Racing Club on Juno 3, 5 and 7 closed yesterday. Thirty-four horses have been entered for the Great Northern Hurdles, 30 for the Great hforthern Steeplechase, and 38 for the Cornwall Handicap, Notable entrants for the Great Northern Hurdles are Mister Gamp, last year s winner, Mangani, winner of the Grand National Hurdles last year, Wiltshire, dual Grand National Steeplechase winner, Pouri, winner of the Wellington Steeplechase in 1925, Wedding March, winner of the race in 19-i, Roman Abbey, who was second in last year's race, and Kawi'ni, third. In the Great Northern Steeplechase prominent performers engaged are Kawini, winner of the Winter Steeplechase last year, Pouri, Wiltshire, Wedding March and Roman Abbey, who was second last year.
