MURDER AND SUICIDE
LAGUNA BEACH TRAGEDY VICTIMS’ FUNERALS CORONER’S JURY VERDICT NEW YORK, Saturday. Funeral services in connection with the Laguna Beach tragedy, in which Mrs. Guy Bates Post, divorced wife of the actor, shot a friend, Mrs. Palmer, and herself, were held today in St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The remains of Mrs. Palmer are to be buried at Laguna Beach, but Mrs. Post's will be cremated at Los Angeles. The authorities state that the verdict of a coroner’s jury of murder and suicide will close the case.
