ELECTION OF OFFICERS From Our Oic* Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. The annual meeting of the Rotorua R.S.A. was held on Friday after the Anzac service, Mr. W. A. McLean presiding. The president announced that 1.500 poppies had been sold. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of JC9O 39s lOd. It was reported that the association had been successful in arranging a scheme of discounts for returned men. AVatson, W. 1\ McLeod, G. \V. Yallop. Attention was drawn to the fact that the sewerage contractor had been working on Anzac Day, and that tlio Coif Club hud carried on competitions. The executive is to deal with the question. Air. Watson thought the time had arrived when larger amounts should l>e available out of canteen funds for the relief of returned distressed men, and a remit, to that •*ffe<*t will be forwarded to tlie next R.S.A. conference.
