USE OF NATURAL GAS
SUPPLY FOR CHICAGO 950-MILE PIPELINE Chicago and its environs will be supplied with natural gas by the greatest pipeline project yet attempted if he plans announced recently work out safely, says an exchange. The plans also will involve a hook-up of several of the largest public utility and oil companies in the country. The project calls for a 95u-mile pipeline from the natural gasfields in Texas to Chicago. The initial line probably will a 22-inch pipe capable of delivering 100,000,000 cubic feet of gas daily. The installation of this fine will be in a manner to facilitate parallel mains in the future.
